Can You Really Make Money In MLM?
The answer is an emphatically YES! You can make money in MLM when you choose the right company and do the right things! The MLM industry has been hurt by companies that offer get-rich-quick schemes and disguise themselves as MLM companies! It has also been hurt by rogue mlm companies that promote front-loading and money-game schemes!
Multi-Level Marketing or MLM in short has been around for over fifty years and is found in over 80 countries! I've written ten books on MLM or network marketing, by the way network marketing is the modern name for MLM and both means the same! I am living proof that you can make money in MLM and has been doing it for over 14 years! There are millions like me worldwide who has made money in MLM.
It is not how much you make in MLM it is the quality of life you can enjoy in a simple home based business without the headaches, heartaches and stress of a conventional business. Majority, over 97% in the MLM business will be happy with earnings from $300 to $1,000 or more a month. Less than 3% are the serious business builders who are willing to commit the time, money and effort to earn $3,000 to $10,000 or more a month.
So how do you choose a right company. Here are four critical factors that will make a company successful and they are:
1. Good Management - look for an executive team with great track record and has enough experience to know what they are doing and to do the right things!
2. Good Products - products that have the WOW! factor and supported by science. You want products that are exciting and in great demand and has proven themselves in the market through thousands of testimonials from satisfied customers!
3. Good Compensation plan - you want a simple and generous compensation plan. There are lots of companies with compensation plans that even the experienced network marketers with many years of experience find it hard to understand, let alone explain it! If you can't understand the compensation plan, don't do the business!
4. Good Support System - you want a good support system offline and online to help you grow your business globally.
Most companies don't make it to the fifth year, statistics showed that only 20% of the companies made it to their fifth year! So your chances are much better if you work with a company that has been around for at least five years!
Now on doing the right things. The truth shall set you free! Confucius said: Sincerity is the highest mark of a man. Be true to yourself and others, say what you mean and mean what you say and always deliver what you promised! People are tired of the hype, lies and false promises! They are very skeptical after having bad experiences with the wrong companies.
Be sincere, speak from the heart and share the opportunity and the benefits of the products. Your job is to educate, not to convince. A person against his will is of the same opinion still! Don't waste time talking to "walls", there are people who after a few bad experiences have closed their minds and will not listen to a word you say about MLM!

Apply the simple TTP method to build your business. TTP stands for Take the Product, Talk To People and Teach The People to do the same! This is a business of duplication and you must keep it simple and just take the products, be your own best customer, share the business opportunity and the benefits of the products and teach the people in your organization to do the same!
How do you make money in MLM? Can you imagine talking to five business builders who are willing to do what you are doing. Of course, you may have to speak to 25 to 50 people to find your five business builders. So here's the simple formula: 5 x 5 = 25, 25 x5 = 125, 125 x 5 = 625, you can stop here because if you go further, your mind may not believe it. Work with your mind! When you add the figures you will have a total of 775 people. Let's just say 300 people are consistently consuming $100 a month, that will give you a monthly sales volume of $30,000 a month. Based on a 5% over-riding commission, you will earn $1,500 a month of residual income!
What if you have 3,000 people, you will be earning $15,000 a month! What if you took five years to do that, it will be worth it isn't it?
